Barbra owed apology by concert organisers

THE publicity surrounding the dreadful organisation at the Barbra Streisand concert at Castletown House was is truly deserved ... it was awful.

However, it is a credit to Ms Streisand’s professionalism that she delivered a magical evening unperturbed by the delay to her taking the stage and the floating crowd seeking seats for most of the first half of her performance.

Clearly aware of the poor organisation (“I want you all to get good seats”), she continued to perform with genuine enthusiasm and generosity and an immaculate display of vocal dexterity.
