Pregnant passenger left weak with hunger

I WAS lucky to survive a return train journey from Dublin to Galway recently.

I took the 7am train to Galway and had my breakfast on board. I booked the 1pm return journey and my ticket clearly stated there would be a snack bar.

Only after the train left the station was an announcement made that there would be no food service on board.
