Taoiseach’s ‘dreadful apology’ did not help

MAY I express my outrage at the Taoiseach’s callous remarks at the ICTU conference in Bundoran.

How insensitive to tell people who crib or moan and do not agree with him that he cannot understand why they do not commit suicide.

Then came the dreadful apology when he was actually smiling and made light of his remarks.
