Death of a diva

I WAS shocked at the news of the passing of a true diva/prima donna and patron of the arts, Beverly Sills.

Affectionately known as Bubbles, she delighted opera fans around the world with her magnificent soprano voice. Musically speaking, ‘through it all, she stood tall’. Fortunately, we can still enjoy her performances on CD and DVD.
