Fan disgusted by thrashing of heavy metal group

I WAS really disgusted by Marc O’Sullivan’s review (June 27) of the thrash metal group Slayer at the Marquee in Cork.

Slayer are an excellent band and to label their music as “racket” is a huge offence not only to the band but also to the fans.

I may be only 16-years-old but I have experienced many different genres of music and most styles of metal are my favourite.
