Sea eaglets - Birds should not fall prey to greed

THE most optimistic cargo ever to land at Kerry airport arrived yesterday when 15 white-tailed sea eaglets flew into Farranfore.

Though lacking inflight catering, having had their last meal of fish on Sunday night, there was no question of low-fare travel for these chicks.

Each in its own special cage, it was first-class to Kerry for the fish eaters from Norway, where they were taken from the wild.
