Nuclear energy the most malignant of all

ALLOW me to comment on the article by Peter Levy in County News of 5 June last. I would suggest Mr Levy does a little more research before he takes such a benign view of nuclear energy (Irish Examiner, County, June 5).

It is not only Greenpeace which is are active in opposing this most malignant of all forms of energy production.

There are hundreds if not thousands of other organisations, representing untold millions of people, that oppose it, not least the International Society of Doctors for the Environment (ISDE), which represents 100,000 medical doctors in 40 countries and the International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War (IPPNW), Nobel Peace Prize winners, representing many more thousands of doctors.
