Carbon taxes will not curtail global warming

IT seems quite possible a FF/Green/PD coalition will come into being but I am not enamoured at the prospect of Fianna Fáil adopting the proposed Green policy of a carbon tax.

Carbon taxes will not curtail global warming

The justification for such a tax is based on the notion that manmade CO2 emissions are the primary cause of climate change. I disagree.

Global warming is no doubt happening, but I believe it to be a cyclical event and more likely caused by the increased irradiance of the sun.
