Separate issues

ON page 2 (May 24), you published a picture of a protest by the Irish Cattle and Sheep Farmers’ Association (ICSA) in Dublin which included a placard that read ‘Nurses — you think you’ve got it bad’.

While I sympathise with the sheep farmers’ plight, I was annoyed at the ICSA’s belittling of our dispute. In future they should refrain from comparing our situation with theirs if only because there is no comparison.
