Funny memories

WE in abumedia are researching a documentary on Laurel and Hardy’s Irish tours in 1952-’53.

They arrived in May 1952. They performed in the Olympia in Dublin and then went to Belfast’s Grand Opera House.

While in Belfast, Stan Laurel became ill and was taken to hospital. Their 1953 visit started in Cobh, Co Cork. We would love to hear from anyone who may have seen them perform or have any fond memories of their visit.
