FOOD for thought is provided by the Green party manifesto regarding their huge u-turn on organic agriculture.

From 2000 to August 2006, Trevor Sargent suggested that 20% of all Irish farming should be organic, but now is calling for 5% by 2012, a 75% reduction.

Since eating their hats on MMR vaccination and getting it so wrong on organic farming, maybe it’s time the Greens looked at the benefits of GM crops.
