Tara route opponents have been proven right

Don’t put the motorway there. There will be too many monuments in the way. Take the proposed orange route from Drumshaughlin up through the Killmessan region towards Trim and you’ll be fine.

Who would have won? The commuters would have had their motorway by now. The politicians would be able to say they provided it. The people who object to the current routing, including our top archaeologists and the director of the National Museum, would be happy. So who would have lost? The developers who bought land along the current route. So let’s not wait for another tribunal to tell us we’ve been had.
