Loss of soul

I READ Gary Dunne’s excellent letter from the US headlined ‘Tara — a cry from the diaspora’ (Irish Examiner, April 19).

I am also appalled at the imposition of a motorway on the sacred territory of Tara. But nothing should cause surprise where Fianna Fáil is concerned. Didn’t that party sell its soul to the mohair brigade in the ‘60s — and the rest, as they say, is (tribunal) history.
