Faith in the young

Having read your front page (Irish Examiner, April 12), I say:

1. Even though many young people reject the teachings of the Catholic Church, and even deny the existence of God, I believe that, by their kindness, caring and generosity, they affirm by their actions what they deny with their words.

2. Their actions speak louder than words.

3. Even though so much has changed, I think the young people I know today are as good, if not better, than the young people I grew up with in the 1940s and ‘50s.
