Writing’s on the wall

A LEAFLET bearing the smiling face of the Taoiseach entreats me to take the next steps forward with him.

The first image I encounter is a brick wall defaced with graffiti. As chair of South Dublin County Council’s environment strategic policy committee, I am acutely aware of the scourge and expense graffiti afflicts on urban communities.

I am aghast Fianna Fáil is so out of touch with local issues it is using a photo depicting an act that would earn its perpetrators an ASBO.
