PRSI a socially unjust method of taxation

PRSI is the great unreformed tax in this country and is socially unjust in terms of its impact.

By getting rid of the earnings ceiling, the tax would be paid by all according to their ability to pay.

By cutting the rate, those who have been bearing an unfair burden for years are getting some relief.

Fianna Fáil deserves to be congratulated for bringing both proposals forward.
