Time is right for cricket
The first cricket match I ever watched was Ireland’s stunning victory over Pakistan. After that, I was hooked. I was, and still am, very unfamiliar with the rules. I kept finding myself looking for a clock on the television screen and was quite pleased not to find one. The complete disregard for time makes it all the more appealing. Taking the clock out of soccer or rugby would ruin the sports by taking their very soul away. Cricket, however, offers a refreshingly clock-free alternative.
