We’ve sold out to EU dictatorship

HERMANN KELLY’S column on the EU (Irish Examiner, March 23) was right on the button.

The EU is a new form of dictatorship in which our sovereignty has been sold and our democracy bought.

Our independence has been sacrificed for our supposed economic good and prosperity and, in many cases, this merely benefits the political elite — not the ordinary citizen.
