Not cricket

I’M beginning to think Tom Cooper (Irish Examiner letters, March 21) is an invention of the unionists and the English to make Irish people more sympathetic to them.

His one-sided, childish arguments against Irish cricket players can’t be taken seriously.

Snooker, soccer and rugby are all as British as cricket, yet there is not a word out of him when Ken Doherty wins at snooker or our soccer and rugby teams win games. Mr Cooper is failing miserably in his aim to stir up things up.
