Missing voice

A number of commentators gave their views. I was surprised at the omission of Ulick O’Connor, who wrote his seminal book, Celtic Dawn, on the Irish literary renaissance.

Synge is one of the key figures in this outstanding book and to have failed to have O’Connor on the programme was a serious omission on the part of RTÉ.
