Fine Gael bluster

ENDA KENNY is grasping at straws with his ridiculous assertion that the next election will be a choice between a Fianna Fáil-Sinn Féin government and a Fine Gael-Labour one.

Not only is a FF-PD coalition possible and likely, but Mr Kenny’s own putative partners — the Greens and Labour — have both been making eyes at Bertie Ahern in recent weeks.

Instead of dictating which other party or combination of parties people should vote for, Mr Kenny might want to get his own house in order and give people a good reason to vote for Fine Gael.
