Alternative is New Labour, Irish-style

RATHER than wasting the last few years cosying up to right-wing deadweights in a scurrilous ‘sweetheart deal’, the Labour Party would be better served seeking to expand its own electoral base.

A New Labour model in Irish politics could provide the theoretical basis for a credible alternative government for voters. At least then we would have real democratic choice as opposed to the one party (and a bit) rule we must now endure.
