New inquiry needed

THE relatives of the Stardust fire victims are right to protest until they are granted a new inquiry. There are still many questions that the original tribunal didn’t answer.

For example, reports that residents living near the Stardust saw flames on the roof 15 minutes before the fire was reported in the disco? Hardly sounds like arson. A roof fire would point to an electrical fault, which many people suspect ed was the real cause of the fire.

For that reason, the original tribunal’s findings are unacceptable to many people.
