Nearest post office keeps moving further away

FOR the last few months I have had to travel a long distance to get to a post office in Dublin.

I live in Terenure where there hasn’t been a post office for years. Most of us went to Kenilworth PO. Last March the man who ran it died and his post office has not been reopened since.

Then Rathgar PO was closed and now I have to travel to Rathmines. I find it unacceptable that people living in these areas have to travel long distances to get to a post office. This problem especially affects older people. An Post should deal with it urgently.
