Government minding the wrong business

WHAT are the Government’s real priorities? Almost every department is in complete disarray — health, transport and the environment are worst.

Almost every project undertaken is way over budget and deadline and, in the case of e-voting and decentralisation, expensive fiascoes that would result in people promptly getting fired in any professionally-run operation.

Yet if two private people wish to make a legal agreement between themselves (a prenuptial), this Government has all the time in the world to hang around and debate whether or not they should be allowed to do that. Astounding.
