Legalise fireworks

FIREWORKS should be legalised. That way they could be sold in shops under strict supervision and substandard crackers would be eliminated.

It would be much safer for the kids who now risk life and limb when they buy dodgy fireworks on the street. Such a move would also rid us of the criminality involved in the business.

It would be great to have more official Halloween fireworks displays for kids like those staged in Ballymun.
