PDs vacate high moral ground and are now at one with Fianna Fáil

IN the political sense, the country is now morally bankrupt. And that’s official. The high moral ground has been vacated by the Progressive Democrats and apartments are to be built on it.

This week we saw their transformation into something akin to Fianna Fáil Lite, well able to filter out substances hazardous to their health, like ethics.

As smokers know only too well, the main difference between the real thing and the lite substitute, apart from the cost, is that you have to suck twice as hard.
