Can you help tell story of four brave men?

PERHAPS some of your readers may be able to help me. My brother is working on a book about Irish Victoria Cross winners.

Can you help tell story of four brave men?

Four of the Irish VC winners are buried in Liverpool. They are:

1. Joseph Prosser, born 1828, in Monegal, Co Offaly (then King’s County).

2. William Dowling, born 1825, Thomastown, Co Kilkenny.

3. Patrick Mylott, born June 1820, Claremorris, Co Mayo.

4. George Edward Nurse, born April 14, 1873, Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh.

This is all the information my brother has on them. He would appreciate anything more on these men so that their valour and bravery can be documented for posterity?
