Power play: if you want FF, vote PD

IT is now clear that the PD election slogan as demonstrated by Michael McDowell in 2002 — ‘One-party government. No thanks’ — was yet another broken promise.

The Taoiseach said he had a deal with Mary Harney to complete their five-year term and he would expect the same commitment from her successor.

This he duly got from Mr McDowell.
