Hospital politics

I WAS impressed by the stance taken by local Fianna Fáil deputy Michael Finneran on the future of Roscommon hospital.

What a pity we didn’t have a politician of similar quality in Cork when the North Infirmary was closed in 1987. It is still missed by the people it served so well on the city’s northside.
