VAT on homecare fees

I CARE for my elderly father at home and I too require private homecare for periods when I am at work.

I resent having to pay VAT of 21% on private homecare fees to the Government just to allow me the right to go to work only to pay tax at 42%.

For me, VAT on private homecare fees represents double taxation.
