Landline rental is a tax on free speech

IF the reported increase in Eircom’s landline rental service comes about, it will represent another attack on free speech in this country.

As it stands, landline rental is overpriced.

In addition there is the VAT charge, which is nothing less that State-sponsored consumer larceny.
