Apologists for Israeli tactics challenged

IT is hard to match the apologists for Israeli war crimes when it comes to off-the-wall propaganda.

Tom Carew (Irish Examiner letters, August 17) repeats the Israeli government mantra that Israel does not attack civilians. “Only Hezbollah”, he declares, ‘deliberately targets civilians.”

Brian Lux, in his letter published on the same day, reinforces this official Israeli line by praising what he calls the “care and accuracy” of Israeli bombers.
