Leading ladies

AS I got through your six pages of advice from ‘leading ladies’ for Irish ladies generally, I began to feel something was missing (Irish Examiner, August 1-3).

At the end it crystallised — only one of the 50 came close to advising that God’s help be sought. She wasn’t either of the two nuns, nor was she born in Ireland.

That may mean nothing — or much.
