Minister and IFA chief putting on a show
Farmers expect a little more tact from their two major representatives. Padraig Walshe certainly has his two hands full holding up the minister. My advice to him would be to hold on tight — don’t let her drop as she could make a run for it, leaving him empty-handed. Farmers cannot take any more of putting on a show.
Their real need is for strong, responsible negotiators to keep Irish agriculture afloat.
