Look after your own

INSTEAD of lobbying the US government for an amnesty for possibly more than 12 million illegal immigrants here, why don’t lobbyists put pressure on countries of mass emigration to improve life for their own citizens?

The US already has more than 30 million of its own citizens living in poverty and there are billions of poor people living in corrupt nations who wish to come to our country.

Each nation has a mandate to improve life for its own citizens. Ireland should not be an exception.
