The Eagles are still soaring, despite the critics

THANKS to David Lenihan (Irish Examiner letters, June 19) for confirming what I think most of us who were at the recent Eagles concert in Dublin actually felt.

It was one of the best concerts I have been to in recent times and I feel that the band, despite their age, have retained their superb voices and gifted musicianship. ‘Desperado’ brought tears to my eyes. Was your reviewer asleep?
