Airport should be ready for takeoff

THE letter from Caitriona Fitzpatrick — taking Transport Minister Martin Cullen to task for passing the buck as all sides play the blame game on the Cork airport terminal — raises questions about the minister’s ability to run his department (Irish Examiner, June 6).

You would think somebody would know how to handle the €200 million allocated for this project. More Cork citizens need to join Ms Fitzpatrick to ask questions and demand answers. As for Mr Cullen, I respectfully suggest he puts a Cork in it and gets down to business.
