Iraqis suffer more now than under Saddam

WHEN a terrorist suspect is located in Britain, the army does not bomb his house, killing any innocent people in the vicinity. He is arrested and, in theory at least, brought to trial (in practice they may well end up murdering an innocent man).

If there was a genuine Iraqi government, rather than the Iraqi equivalent of the Vichy government under Petain, controlled by the forces of occupation, this is what would have happened there. Everyone should have learnt by now not to trust ‘information’ coming solely from US government sources, but world leaders and the media accept US statements as if they were facts without any independent evidence.

The media is entitled to applaud the action of the Americans as an act of terrorism, an act of revenge or an act of war, but not as a legal act of justice.
