Protect environment and reduce cancer

AGE as such does not cause cancer.

Older people have a propensity to exhibit invasive cancer because they are exposed to cancer-causing agents, including oxygen and ultraviolet light, for a longer time. Chemical carcinogens like dioxins have time to accumulate in greater concentration in tissues. It is possible that the increase in breast cancer relates to the fact that dioxins and other chemicals have a preference for fatty tissue and therefore have a higher concentration in these organs.

Screening and development of new treatment modalities are essential in the fight against cancer, but I feel that real progress will elude us unless we focus more on protecting our environment and reduce or eliminate all the known factors that are potential cancer initiators/promoters.
