Rewriting history

SOME people suspect that Fianna Fáil are rewriting history to mark their 80th anniversary.

They have had so much practice, and success, airbrushing two recent decades of fiasco and scandal that such a magnum opus would surely rank as their finest work of art.

Besides, all great socialist leaders of the past, Lenin, Stalin, Khruschev, etc, have been accorded this privilege, so why deny it to Comrade Bertie?
