“COSTNER caught out” was your main picture headline on Wednesday, April 26. What are you trying to do with this newspaper? What criteria do you apply to a story in order for it to merit front page headline status?

If I wanted to read “stories” or “news” such as this I buy the “redtops”, which plumb such depths.

In this particular item the news value was that a woman in Scotland was making an unfair dismissal claim.
