We need investment, not expensive toys, to sort out public transport
The longer this whole fiasco about the LUAS and the Metro goes on, the more convinced I'm becoming that it's an emperor-with- -no-clothes type of story. It's a crazy conspiracy, and if someone doesn't stop it, it's going to bring our capital city to its knees. We should have all listened to Garret FitzGerald, who was the only one to warn about where the LUAS was bringing us.
The propaganda says that LUAS along with the Metro they're thinking about building is better public transport. Has anyone ever asked the people of Dublin what kind of public transport they want? Has anyone ever told them the ins and outs of all this, and then put it to a vote?
