As Irelandâs most recent heatwave is replaced by an autumnal chill in the air, spare a thought for our European cousins, for whom far-more-outlandish temperatures have become a predictable annual occurrence.
Last year, Greece, in particular the island of Rhodes, was decimated by surging temperatures and rampant wildfires.
