The now-deleted hours-long X space â the audio chat function to have conversations with other X, formerly Twitter, users â included at least 25 Irish accounts, many which have since been suspended and features long discussions on race, migration and politics.Â
Also on the call are a number of American ethnonationalists, with one woman saying the âIrish are leading the wayâ in abandoning electoral politics in favour of political violence.
Ethno-nationalism is "the belief, theory, or doctrine that shared ancestry is the principal element of a cohesive national identity, and that a government should protect and promote the culture, language, and religion of one group, considered the primary or prestigious people of a nation, over other cultures, languages, or religions that may share that space in a multicultural society", according to Dictionary.com
The X space conversation, which took place in June, was viewed thousands of times while it was available.
At one point, a number of users discuss an Irish-based antifascist, when one user says âwithin a month, weâll see an obituary for himâ.
Another user, from the south of the country, says: âThereâll be someone walking around with bits of him on the end of their shoe. Heâll get stood on. Thatâs what will happen him.â
Another user responds they âhope this happensâ.

During one part of the discussion, a man from Northern Ireland identified as âRichieâ discusses the fractured nature of far-right politics in Ireland and says he is ânot sureâ democratic means will âmake much of a differenceâ but says until there is âan alternativeâ, democratic politics was âthe pathwayâ.
In response, another user says âdemocracy is an illusionâ and âthe State has declared war on usâ.
âI really feel like weâre in a war here,â the young man, who is described as the leader of the group, adds.
The first man replies the âoverarching coalescenceâ needs to be around âIreland for the Irish, white people for the white people, Western Europeans for the Western Europeansâ.
âThe people around here, trying to fucking destroy everything we hold sacred are fucking Jews,â he adds.Â
He later speaks about the âJewish nature of controlâ. He says Jews have âmalevolent intentions towards the white people of Western Europe and Ireland in generalâ.Â
Other users expand on anti-Jewish conspiracies around central banks. In a later discussion âRichieâ says subscribing to the streaming service Netflix is âas good as having a Jew in your living roomâ.
Another user then says Jewish texts the Talmud and Torah are âSatanicâ.
The man, however, bristles at the idea of the Irish far-right becoming involved with British far-right leader Tommy Robinson, who the users describe as a âpaid Zionistâ.
In one part of the discussion, a woman speaks about âgetting them outâ, referring to migrants.
During a discussion about voting, one user says voting rights should be taken from immigrants.
During this discussion, a host of the chat says âaction is neededâ away from electoral politics.
âItâs not going to have a happy ending if itâs all political.
âWe canât solve this solely by voting... itâs time for action.â
The same user later says immigration into Ireland is a âdeclaration of warâ. He says âthe odds are stacked against [white Irish people]â.
A woman later says every member of the DĂĄil should be âdragged out and brought to justiceâ.Â

She adds protesters have been âtoo well-behavedâ and have not disrupted day-to-day life or occupied buildings or impacted motorways. The woman then repeats a debunked conspiracy that Indian people are being offered âŹ80,000 to move to Ireland, which another user casts doubt on but another calls âan act of treasonâ.
When a user identified as Mick says Ireland âwill not go to warâ, the host asks participants to show if they believe people will take up arms and a female host says there are âquite a fewâ people who say that, they believe the country will.
When the host is asked how that war will come about, he tells the chat âwe donât talk about things like that explicitlyâ and adds âthatâs a conversation for outside the public spacesâ.
âBut the mentality is there and we have the backbone. When we get together, itâs going to be unstoppable.
âItâs inevitable, weâre not far away.â
Another says people âare voting Nationalistâ and âthe deportations are comingâ.
Another speaker later talks about a video recorded on the day of the local and European elections which shows a man voting using his motherâs polling card, which was widely shared on social media. He says this is âtreasonâ and says the Government has âoverthrown the electionâ to stay in power.
âAnybody facilitating this deserves the end of a rope and nothing less,â he says.
Late in the chat, the host warns participants not to discuss plans for taking up arms âon a public spaceâ. The conversation closes with two of the participants planning to meet offline, before it abruptly ends.
