Episode Three - The Student Experience

In this episode we get a fascinating lived experience into what it is like to be an archaeologist living and working on the island.

The Spike Island field school - which sees archaeological students living on the Island during the week - is divided into lectures and practical excavation work.

Students who travel across the water from Cobh stay on the Island during the week with an option to return by ferry, to the mainland for the weekend.
