Media minister Patrick O’Donovan has remained coy on whether he would sign off on a pay increase for RTÉ director general Kevin Bakhurst.

In April, public expenditure minister Jack Chambers confirmed the salaries of chief executives in commercial State bodies could be reviewed and increased.
