Justice minister Jim O’Callaghan has been urged to temporarily extend pub licensing hours for the World Cup if the Republic of Ireland qualifies.
Independent TD Barry Heneghan told the the extension should be time-limited and temporary, arguing it would allow people to come together safely to cheer on the Boys in Green.
