Pay levels making it difficult to recruit staff for election count centres, Oireachtas to hear

The money paid to staff at count centres is “no longer attractive to many people” and is making it harder to recruit ahead of the general election, an Oireachtas Committee is set to hear.
Furthermore, it will hear a major review into the electoral register is being finalised and will be published before the end of the year.
