Simon Harris and Keir Starmer set terms for annual summit to 'reset' Ireland-UK relations

Commerce across the Irish Sea - a trade relationship worth €120bn a year which supports thousands of jobs - was at the top of the meeting agenda

The Taoiseach and the British prime minister will hold annual summits on trade and security, the Keir Starmer has said. 

Mr Starmer said it is a “moment for reset” of relations between the UK and Ireland as he met Simon Harris during his first official visit to Dublin.
